Oh, um....hi.

Yeeeahh...
Need to post more often, obviously.

Something I think can benefit most artists out there: go through yer shit semi-regularly. You'd be amazed on what you find that you didn't remember having. Also, organization is a good idea.

Updating your art blog more often is also probably a good idea.

Lately I've been rather attached to the idea of Punk and Goth crafts. Especially with household things like decorating. For Thanksgiving my awesome boyfriend got me a book called Home Rockanomics by Heidi Minx.
For those looking for alternative books for craft projects, I would recommend this one even though it's not very long and the recipes may not be interesting to avid meat-eaters. It has some neat ideas and will get you started on your own ideas. Paint It Black by Voltaire is also a good one for the Goth crowd.
Craft books like these makes me wish I had a sewing machine that worked, however. Hand sewing, while better if you're making Renaissance Period clothing, is a pain in the ASS. Sewing trim by hand, even more so.
Also makes me wish that my hand sewing skills were better, as I've been trying to alter some old clothing and use some fabric that I love for various things.

My current project is making myself a neon green and black striped scarf.
I have some other projects on hand, but they're kinda on the back burner at the moment. Things like making an aged book, making a painting of the TARDIS in warp, some Steampunk blasters, and a pinstriped skirt. The skirt I may or may not scrap.

And so this is not a completely useless post: pictures!

One of the hats I made randomly.

A hat I made for a friend. You can't really see it, but there's a lot of blue Tulle back behind the hat.

Top of my re-painted night stand. Orion galaxy.

Front of the night stand. The drawer got too heavily painted with stars, so that's why it looks weird.
